Scholarship Jazz Brunch

This highly anticipated event has served as the Association’s primary fundraiser for nearly 20 years. The jazz brunch brings together chapter members, family, friends and supporters annually. Over the years, the event has grown to more than 200 attendees who enjoy a time of fellowship, networking and dancing. Everyone looks forward to participating in the New Orleans style second line, which comes complete with decorative umbrellas and handkerchiefs. The Jazz Brunch supports the Fannie N. Ridgeway Scholarship Fund which is a valuable and needed asset considering the housing crisis among HBCUs.

Tickets on sale through Friday, October 31st

PEACE (People Experiencing A Cultural Enlightenment), celebrates the extraordinary ability of jazz to unite people across generations, cultures, and communities. More than a musical genre, jazz is a powerful expression of creativity, resilience, and hope. Jazz invites us to reflect on our shared heritage and find common ground through the universal language of music.
